Sydney is an important part of our team. She has been involved with the ALS community since she was 10 days old when she rode on Donna's lap at the first ALS Run Walk and Roll.

Cody Isted
Future Ironman
My name is Cody Isted, and I’m honoured to join Donna and Mike in raising funds and awareness for ALS research. Though I’m new to the triathlon community, I’m excited to channel this passion into supporting a cause that means so much to me.
In May 2024, my father was diagnosed with ALS. Until then, I knew little about this devastating disease. In June, at a local triathlon, I met Donna, and we struck up a conversation. She shared that she and her husband, Mike, are traveling across Canada in 2025, competing in triathlons to support ALS research. Her story moved me deeply and inspired me to use my own journey in triathlon to make a difference.
This year, I’ll be involved in several races (not just triathlons) in British Columbia, directing funds for Tri’ing to End ALS along the way. My hope is for a future where ALS is nothing more than a memory and no family has to endure its impact.
