We’re settled at Lakeside Resort, Oliver and are so glad we came here early – usually when we get here for this race weekend it’s already full! We realized that we’ve come here many times since Dynamic Race Events started holding its triathlons here starting in 2006. It’s a great little resort and we love being here.  This is really the calm before the storm – family and friends are arriving tomorrow and we are SO looking forward to seeing and hugging everyone!

For the first time ever, I actually walked up and down Main Street! Discovered a yummy bakery (Big Al’s) and a couple of funky shops.

We were so very lucky to be invited to our Tri’ing Teammate, Cody’s, house last night for dinner. He and his family welcomed us into their happy, love-filled home. We enjoyed hearing about everyone’s ‘best part of the day’ and follow up questions at the dinner table. What a fun way to learn about everyone!
